The Benefits of Collaboration Among Regulators

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

For a long time, regulators have been collaborating on ways to protect the public interest through dialogue and guidance to practitioners. In 2021 the Professional Governance Act (PGA) formally brought together a number of regulatory bodies under one umbrella. The intersection of professional practice continues to be a great example of where we can solve problems together and give clear guidance to our registrants. In this session you will learn about past, present and future initiatives being collaboratively done between the Engineers and Geoscientists BC, Forest Professionals BC and BC Institute of Agrologists. At the end of this session participants will be able to clearly see how their ethical and professional conduct matters in the intersection of professional practice
