SPEAKING AS A LEADER®

Speaker: Shalyma Cambridge

The ability to speak with clarity, conviction, and influence is critical to leadership. To be truly effective, leaders must be able to inspire action every time they speak – from formal and informal presentations to conference calls, one-on-one conversations, impromptu discussions, and Q&A sessions. Speaking as a Leader® meets this goal by enabling participants to speak as polished, inspirational leaders in every interaction.

THE NEW LANGUAGE OF LEADERSHIP

Speaker: Catherine Ducharme

We have been operating in a world that is volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) for some time now, but never on a scale so big as 2020. Disruption, massive change, the imperative for equality and social justice, economic insecurity and uncertainty, and blurred lines between work and home have presented extreme challenges and exciting opportunities for organizations and employees. This session will explore how the Coaching Mindset unlocks learning, capacity and resilience; illustrate the types of questions a leader asks to empower teams to find their own solutions; explore new ways to communicate and be present in this new VUCA reality; and learn how empathy and compassion builds trusting relationships that help culture, teams and organizations thrive.

HOW THE GROWTH JOURNEY AFFECTS STRATEGY AND CULTURE

Speaker: Alan Oishi

This session provides a unique perspective of the growth journey that all successful organizations experience. Rather than focus primarily on the financial part of the journey, the framework connects to how the overall mood (energy) of an organization shifts through different stages of growth. It normalizes and reduces the judgement of the more challenging parts of the journey, particularly the “wall”, and allows leaders to step back and assess (a) where they are; (b) where they want to be; and (c) some of the contextual themes that require greater focus.
